Hey,

I am looking at getting a Soft Tonneau, Lund Genesis - Tri-Fold Tonneau.

Any thoughts / complaints / other suggestions?

Thanks,

I have the truxedo lo-pro and it is very nice. It is built well and works great. I can open and close it in 30 seconds. I also have a bed rug so the cover helps keep it out of the elements.

I got the Extang Trificta, really like it. It doesn't leak ( that I can see) even in the car washes. Had the Lund Genesis the lift top (not the trifold) it was ok. Hated it when had to go down the road with the lid partially open. I would still have it except found out the hard way that when the cover was opened it lacked 1/2" from clearing the garage when backing . The Trifecta clamps real easy has finger screws clamping the front and spring clamps you pull down 1-2" and clamp to the bed rail. I do not know about the Lund trifold, sorry. I got the Trifecta because of the many others on this site were happy with it so I just "sheeped along", they were right.

I don't know what brand I have, but it's the soft cover that snaps on the bed rails. PITA. It's off now, and I'll only use it for camping or other road trips. I say get one you can open, close, and completely remove without too much trouble.

Thanks for all the replies!

Now for those using the Extang, Do you have a Bed Liner (Factory) Not over the rails, and Spoiler?

Or, if you don't have a Spoiler, do you think the Spolier would get in the Way of the Extang?

Thanks,

Stealth

I like my Access cover -- easy to use and durable (made in ND by a company that makes grain truck tarps).

I just got the rail covers from the dealer, they just use sticky tape to hold them. I also have the tailgate cover (not spoiler) from the same place. The spoiler needed holes drilled and I really did not like the looks IMO. Rails were $90 and the tailgate cover was somewhere around $35. Perfect for me.

I have the Extang with snaps. It's ok as I don't carry high loads often. The snaps work fine. You can reverse them to adjust the tension and the bows have 2 positions too. It doesn't fit over bed liners that go over the top of the bed very well. My cover was pretty loose when it got warmer so I called about it and they had me measure it. They said it was cut too big so they sent me a new cover in 3 days. Great service.

It keeps everything clean and dry just fine. As for mileage improvement...well it's not worse. In the wind it may be better. I can't say.

I pretty happy with my Undercover tonneau. You can basically walk on the thing with all your weight-and I have. Only comes in black, but is very lightweight and easy to remove. Even has a neat little LED light in it for lighting up your bed!

I have the Access cover on both my 99 v10 long bed and my 06 Manvan.
