Tires
I'm currently running Mickey Thompson Baja MTZ's on my 2007 2500. Is there anything better or should I just buy another set of the same?

Better in what way?
Unless you tell us what you want to do better we can't help much. |
There are lots of tires better and worse. Like Raspy said, we need a little more info to give any kind of suggestions.
Where do you drive, how do you drive it, towing or no towing, etc.... |
Bridgestone/Firestone offer that size in a E rating. Toyo/Nitto offers a 285-75-17 tire that'll deliver a dab more fuel economy.

My $0.02...
I was running the exact same tire (Baja MTZ's). Went to a 35x12.5x17 Nitto Trail Grappler and couldn't be happier with the results. They wear great (rotating mine every 5K) and perform even better. I really liked my Mickey's till I got the Nitto's. The Baja's just wore out it seemed WAY too quick (rotating the same...5K). The only tire I would steer away from is the BFG A/T...I had nothing but death wobble with those after about 20K. Again, just my experience. Good luck! |
Yes..."E" rated

TOYO MT's
|
I agree..the TOYO's are nice. they also come with a ridiculous price tag. have a few buddies that have them and they look, wear, and perform great. However...I don't see them performing or wearing any better than the NTG's (again, just my opinion when it comes to the cost). They are super proud of those things!

Thanks, gentlemen.
