Third Brake Light for Camper Shell

I'm new to the site but have been a Dodge fan for a long time and this is my
second CTD the first being a 96 2500 SLT 4x4. Thanks for all the info as over
the past 4 months I have been a reader of the site each day.
My 03 got here Friday the 21, Feb, 2 months and a week from order.
To my question? I need to hook up the brake light on the champer shell
and the last truck (96) had a wire kit (Mopar) as a option and this one doesn't!
With all the new stuff added to the trucks (computer stuff) the wires at the back
have a flash or constant power to tell if a light is out so I can't find a wire that is
brake only. Is there a kit for it or have I just not found the wire I need?
Any help would be good I'm to get the shell on Wed.
Thanks
Jon

If you have the trailer/tow package the pigtail that comes with the truck for the brake control should yield the circuit you seek. ;D

If I'm not mistaken, there should be a pigtail under the spare or close by marked CHMSL. That is the lead for a third brake light. It is just a single wire hanging out of the harness somewhere around the spare.
