Tailgate question.
Does anyone know if a tailgate off a 1500 will fit the 2500 3rd. generation?

As long as the tailgate is for a 3rd gen it will fit, the only difference between 1500 & 2500 are the emblems.

02 1500 will fit any 3rd gen also.

It won't fit becasue it's a 1500 and states that on the tailgate


If it's a 02 1500 or 03-06 1500 thru 3500 it will fit.

It'll fit but you lose 2000lbs of payload.....
