Sunroof option?

Just kicking the new truck idea for a second. Off the internet, on a dodge site, I saw a red megacab with a sunroof. These trucks have this as a factory option or is this an aftermarket job. If it is factory, does it slide back or...?

Thanks

I wanted the sun roof versus the overhead DVD player. Been in the back of my 04.5 about 2 times in the 2 1/2 years I had him.
The sun roof is definitely a factory installed option. I didn't order mine so I got what was in it.

I have the sunroof on my truck. I didn't want it because it's a potential leak point, but I haven't heard anything about anybody's roof leaking to this point in time.

It's growing on me. I use it in the vent position with the rear window cracked...then I don't have to use the A/C. I'm all about mileage you know.

We have the sunroof in our 02' Chrysler and never had a problem with it leaking, so I got it on my truck as well. Also have the entertainment center, but then again I have the megacab so it will fit.

Yes it slides back into the roof, or you can put it to vent which just pops the back up an inch or so. I really didn't care whether I had the sunroof or not but since I have it I actually use it a fair bit.

I too have the sunroof and use it more than I had thought I would. It's a year old and no issues to date.

I also have the entertainment system. My kids love it, but when the screen is flipped down it blocks my rear view mirror vision. It's kind of a pain, but having my boys sitting in the back without fighting and actually being quiet more than makes up for the negative aspects. We can also listen to what they're watching up front through the factory head unit, so when they start laughing I can hit the mode button and listen in and know (or at least hear) what they're laughing about.

I really wish I had a sun roof.... I'm halfway tempted to go aftermarket, but ugh all the horror stories of that!

I love mine, with it open and the elec. slider open just a bit, the ventilation is really nice, and not a lot of buffeting.

I thought the whole sun roof thing was kinda girly, but, the last 06 black on the lot had one, so I took it anyway. Im glad I did too, cause its actually a nice feature, gives the truck a little more of a luxury feel

I wouldn't get a car or truck without a sunroof. It clears the hot air out quick in the summertime and it's nice ventilation in the spring. I have never had a problem with a sunroof leaking air or water.

Two thumbs up for the factory sunroof.

GWA all the way !

At $850 MSRP and $748 FWP, it should be an enjoyable option that will also add value to the truck at trade-in time.

It is a factory option. Im not sure if they slide back or not. They do on a stratus so Im guessing the truck ones work the same
