Steering wheel radio controls?
 

Anyone know what is required to upgrade the steering wheel/radio to the fingertip controls on the back of the steering wheel? Does the dealer sell a kit or anything? Thanks in advance, Scott

I do, but what year truck do you have? I've been too busy to do the write-up I promised to do..

I'd love to put controls in my truck. Heard I have to change the clock spring behind the wheel but don't know how to wire it beyond that.

You don't have to change anything. The two switches and a wheel harness are all that is needed. I can add the code to your VIN that you'll need. Then you'll have to go to your dealer and have a minor computer function done to the vehicle. There are alot more details, but it's not that complicated at all to do. The trip to the dealer is only required on the 06 and later models. Sorry, no way around that.

I was a mechanic for ten years before I went to med school, I'm sure I can do it. I have a/an 07 3500 QC dually man 6spd 6.7.
