Speedometer reading 10mph fast? Tranny is 47RE

Any ideas what to check for? Speedo indicates 70 but true speed is 60. Speedo indicates 72 but true speed is 62 and so on. Could this be as simple as a failing speed sensor? Thanks!

It's my pot and I'll stir it if I want to. If you're not careful, I'll stir your's as well!

Have you perhaps installed different diameter tires to OE and then not had the speedometer re-calibrated?
