Someone to check out a truck for me?

Found a truck near Tulsa OK that I'm not willing to drive 200mi just to see if it's ok or not. Someone that's been around a 03 would be nice.

Just changed my signature. All of them I used myself over several years of hotshoting and roofing and tree work. They've all been sold. Looking for #9.

WHITE DUALLY WITH A FLATBED....I just drove by it 13 minutes ago.

IF its the one I KNOW....It just got the engine COMPLETELY rebuilt at a very reputable shop.....might ask about that. And I have worked on several of Walts Diesels before that needed some work done. I would say I kinda know him a little.

On edit: If it is the 4door white dually.....I looked at it plenty while it was in the shop getting engine rebuilt. Not a bad truck if the price is right. IT was indead 100% overhauled though from what the dealership said was BAD FUEL IT broke a ring if I recall correctly. IT HAD 95K on it and DODGE denied there warranty from bad fuel.

Caught up with him on Sunday did you. Well the story you told me about the motor doesn't exactly match up with his. His was excessive heat cracked the ring/s. Walt said half the 03 had this problem. Makes me nervous when people make things up. What's the name of the diesel shop he had the motor work done at? You didn't bother to ask him what he was asking for the truck?
Or maybe I should ask you what you thought the truck was worth?

I never spoke to him--I just happen to have an excellant memoery and when I was on my way to O'Rielly's today I saw it on his lot and recalled the truck.......He said that becasue the shop that rebuilt the engine seems to think that every COMMON RAIL engine wont make it past 150K miles......Thats absolutely obserd(sp?) .... Hes a HUGE Powerstroke fanatic as myself.

Anyhow the shop was "Poplins Diesel Service" I saw it in there while it was getting rebuilt. I take my service truck there to get it serviced...LOL Im too lazy to do it myself.

NO NOT ALL 03 are doing that----thats a joke---Mr. Walt is just repeating what he heard---hes not a diesel mechanic---NICE guy but not a diesel mechanic. LOL.

Call if you would like to ask me a question 9186981351

I appreciate the information. I'd still like someone who is a dodge owner to take a look at it if possible.
