Sleepy alternator???

Video of cold start, 12deg temp outdoors.
Does this seem like normal volt readings after cold start? I know its not the grid heaters cycling, I can hear them and see the draw from the lights when they are on.

Normal, the dash gauge isn't an exact representation of what is actually going on. With a tuner/OBD gauge you can see what is actually happening with voltage.

So far according to my scan tool on my lap top, the gauge has been pretty close so far. Before start it reads 12.7v, 13.1v right afet the start, and will jump up to 15.2v after the alternator wakes up. I can watch the voltage drop when the grid heaters cycle. Also, the voltage will be different between what is read at the scan tool and what the ECM reads. After warm up, ECM will read 14.88v and scan tool reads close to 16v at times, usually right at 16-16.1v.
