service manual

I did a little searching to answer my own inquiry posted earlier regarding repair manuals. On www.daimlerchrysler.ca/manuals website I negotiated through their "search" to find under Techauthority II service manuals and DVD for my 2004 dodge. But the service manual(hard copy) they sell for $ 250.00 and the DVD for $ 90.00. WOW.
I will probably look for another alternative.

There's always the Haynes at just about any auto parts store but they are not near as detailed as a real shop manual and they do have mistakes.

I kinda treat them like one of the guys. They don't always know everything, and they aren't always right.

Thanks 1-2-3. I think I will go the Haynes manual (for Dodge Diesel) direction since it does work OK for the 2000 Toyota I have.
