I picked up leather seats from an 08 for my truck. The driver's seat back won't return upright on it's own, I need to pull it up. I lubed the pivot points of the seat back, lubed the release mechaism etc but still doesn't work. There's a cable going from the handle side to the other that seems to be working fine.

Nothing in the shop manual about this and nothing online, there's a big honking spring on the one side I don't want to mess with without knowing what I'm doing.
Anyone ever had this problem and if so how did you fix it?
