repair manuals
I am doing basic maintenance on my 2004 dodge RAM 3500 4WD turbo diesel and thought it would be helpful to have a decent and accurate repair manual to refer to and familiarize myself with the workings of my truck. I am not planning on becoming a diesel mechanic by any means but would sure like to know more about my truck than I do now.
Do any of you have some suggestions?
Thanks for your comments.

I would like to know the same thing. This is my first diesel, and i like to do thing myself. I am restoring a 73 nova, and I have the chevy shop manual from 73, as well as a Haynes manual. These work pretty good. Maybe these are availble for these trucks as well. Look forward to getting some good gouge.

Just a plain ole guy
I've had the Haynes books from auto parts stores and there are alot of discrepancies in them. Some important, like the wrong firing order. They're ok for small stuff but real for important repairs, I'd get a real shop manual. I haven't bothered getting one for the 04. I still have the one for the 99 and just reference it sometimes.
