Removing Mega rear seats?

Ok I have a 200 lb mastiff that can "step up" into the back door of my mega....I don't ever have passengers and thought about taking the seats out and line-exing the space soley for pups...unless I need to put the seats back. How tough anyone do this?
Regards,
Jimmy

I don't have a specific answer for you but generally taking seats out of vehicles usually involves removal of a few bolts that generally fit back in later with no problem at all. The Megacab system is a little complicated (harder to get back together) but there would be a TON of room back there!

Thats a tiny little toy dog you got there, next time you should step up and get a real pooch, like one that weighs in at over 200 lbs

Seriously, that guy is huge... weighs 30 lbs more than me.

Took a good look at the back seats today...the front bolts are very easy but the rear mechanism looks tricky. Thanks for the compliments on my buddy.

I have two Rotts + two other hounds that often ride in the back. I usually have the seats down flat which works pretty well and have been meaning to do something similar to what Wiggs did and have a local mattres fabricator do me up a fitted foam pad for the gap between the seats. I have still been thinking about rhino lining the carpeted backs of the seats...

Thanks stump... Hey pass I didn't see what wiggs did...that sounds like a good idea. Also line-exing the back sounds like a good idea as well. My biggest problem is when the seats are down, that flat area is too high for the dude to put his front paws on. Front paws up, dad lifts his big butt the rest of the way into the truck. I even got a ramp but with a 6 inch lift and 37's it is like a 75 degree incline. Thanks again for all the suggestions, gonna check out what wiggs did. Maybe I should just buy a civic! Not!

You could always make a longer ramp to decrease the angle, put a hinge in the middle of the ramp so it can fold up when not in use...

What ya gonna do with the civic, put the pooch in it (if he'll fit) and put the little honda in the back of your truck?

Cool pup, I had a Rot a few years back. Now we just have a couple of small terriers, I miss the my Rot but not the back yard clean-up.

Yeah I need a snow shovel to clean up his deposits! The other dog is a Bernese mountain dog and has piles almost as big! Why couldn't I be a cat lover?
