Removing Dually Fenders for re-paint
Just picked up an 03 Dually. Paint is in great shape except the Dually fenders have your basic sandblast appearance and some weird blemishes in the paint. I want to take them off and have them re-painted and im wondering how easy it is to take the fenders off.......anyone have any experience with this? Thanks in advance.....

I dont, but if you remove the inner wheel well you ought to be able to see how theyre held on and how difficult it would be to remove them.
I *believe* they are bolted on with a "gasket" of sorts and should be pretty easy to remove. |

Thanks Guys.....yeah, I was looking at the inner wheel well and i bet once that is off it will be easy to see how it un-bolts. Appreciate the replies.[coffee]

The hardest part of the fender to take off is the rear bolts. You have to pull the tail light lenses out and have a skinny hand, or you can reach it from the bottom if you have long arms...........
