front suspension refurbishing question
Hello all,
I am about to refurbish my front suspension on my 2003 Ram 2500 4x4. I plan on replacing the ball joints, tie rod ends, and the control arm and track bar bushings. I already replaced the sway bar end links and bushings. The truck has about 184k miles and have some odd tire wear on the front set. The concern is that I can't seem to find a break down on how to replace the control arm and track bar bushings. I imagine that it's pretty straight forward, take weight off of the suspension, support axle, unbolt control arms/track bar, out with the old in with the new, bolt arms/bar back in, torque to spec, and done. Am I far off? Are there any special tools needed? I have seen on some sites that a ball joint press is handy for removal and install, but can't find anything else. As always the help and suggestions are appreciated.
