Recall Notice

I was wondering if anyone else got a recall for 06-07' diesel trucks to have the ECM reprogrammed? I did, and called the dealer to find out what it does. This person informed me that it was the regeneration of the particulate filter that would be affected! I did inform him that my truck had no-such parts, but he stuck with his explaination. I also called the Dodge service hotline and concluded that I may as well been talking to myself! Useless describes this service. Anyway, this recall does state that my ECM may fail to report diagnostic information and cause failure of an emissions tests? Any feedback could be of great help.
Thanks,
Chad

hold out as long as you can! Don't give in. Wait until it's the only thing left to do between you and getting license tags for the year... and then think about leaving the state for a more friendly one.

You're the first person posting about reinstalling their Smarty successfully. I thought Marco would have to write another update. Great.

It is NOT a recall. Chrysler only extended the warranty on the ECM only for replacement for some issues. THIS IS NOT A RECALL

I was worried about the issues with the recall k01 but everything seems fine, Im running the Mar 19 Revo software and I reloaded it within 10 minutes of the reflash truck never shutdown and I had no honking issues.

Thanks guys. I don't have annual inspections here, so no worries! I was more curious if it did anything for milage ect? I won't worry about it at this point.
