I have an intermittent problem in my 05 Ram where I'll start the truck, and there's no sound output from the stereo.
However, if I hit my UConnect button then cancel the session, the sound returns.

Any thoughts or anyone heard of this before?

mine acts funny at times also, i dont hae ucoonect but do have the rb4, it acts crazy sometimes. goes mute at times and also looses sat for the day sometimes. Sometimes the screen will lightup but will not respond. ive noticed that all these probs occur only when i leave the radio in the on position at shut down and it turns itself on at startup. if i turn it off before shutdown i never have a problem with any radio function.
