Question for those with a topper/canopy/shell

Hi
I have a camper shell on my 2nd Gen. Bought it used from a guy that said it was for a Dodge, but if it is it is for a 3rd Gen. Seals fine but is a bit wider and taller at the front than it should be. It measures 74 3/4 inches across the front at the bottom. I'm wanting to sell this topper (really just had it to move) but would like to figure out what it was manufactured for. If someone with a 3rd Gen topper could measure across the bottom in the very front (the topper not the bed) I would appreciate it. Or if someone has a good eye for toppers I could send a picture. Or if there is a different tell tale measurement I could take let me know. I'm guessing either 3rd Gen Dodge or a Ford

PS It is a nice Raven fiberglass topper in gray/silver tone in case anyone was wondering

Is it a shortbed or longbed??

A third gen shortbed is about 2 inches shorter than a 2nd gen shortbed.

Its a long bed, frong to back fit is perfect. Just wider at the front. The rear width is a pretty close match. It is taller in the front than the 2nd Gen cab. The guy swore up and down it came off a Dodge. It was manufactured by Glasstite and they were bought out by someone and I cannot get a response to emails or calls from the new company. Does have the plate with the serial number if anyone knows how to decipher that

Thanks!
Steve

This is the only measurement you need?

Well if you don't mind taking one front to back and also from the bottom of the topper to the bottom of the third brake light cut out in front (hoping yours has one) that would be great!

Thanks a million!

My Swiss is approximately:

68-3/8" Wide (base of the cap)
93-7/8" Long (base of the cap)
23-1/2" Tall (front, center of the cap)

thanks! I guess I'll amble over to a Ford forum and see what their mesurements are......the one on mine seems to be quite a bit wider than yours.

Thanks for taking the time to measure and post
