Price Check.....new 2007 dodge 2500 SLT 4x4 quad
Sticker is $43,270.00 for this rig with 5.9 and 4 speed auto.
I've gotten them down to $32,300 and think I need to sign before they change their mind. Not sure how they are working this deal but I can't imagine beating this number for this truck.
What are others paying for these trucks in this trim?
Cloth seats with YES stain resistance
Cruise
Shift on the fly 4X4
Big Horn package
locking rear diff.
tilt
6 way power driver seat
front center cushion storage
Sirius radio...i prefer xm
fog lamps
leather wrapped steering wheel
rear sliding window
trailer tow
fold flat rear floor
tow hooks
fold away trailer mirrors
engine block heater

Drove it back for the weekend.....averaged 19.2 mpg on the compuker over 60 miles, 1/2 of which was hilly and twisty at 60mph and the balance on hilly interstate at 73mph. Before the i-state was getting solid low 20's
I'm impressed. Much quieter than I expected from the 5.9

Tell the dealer $1,000 under invoice along w/ the rebates (ask to see the invoice sheet on that truck). The dealer will still make money on the deal w/ the holdback and rebates the dealer recieves from Chrysler.

Local dealers around atlanta are only taking off 11k off msrp. I tell them, people are getting better deals than that and they are telling me i'm full of it. Is the 14k off on the 5.9 or 6.7?

I agree with dale. It's a good deal pull the trigger on it and be happy. Except for the trans my truck is similarly equipped and the total price I paid including taxes and everything was right at 34K. That was back in november when the lots were full of brand new 06's and was about the best you could swing on an '07. It was a fair price and I'm satisfied.

Sticker is $43270. They are giving me essentially the employee pricing, less the rebate plus and additional $1000 or so in discount. I was shocked they could do this but it sounds like its not that unusual. Chevy just scoffed at me with about $6000 or less off sticker including the rebate on an '08 ext. cab duramax that was stripped.
In MO we pay taxes direct to the DOR when we register.....have 30 days from date of sale to pay. So $32,300 is OTD but I still have to pay about $2200 in sales tax next month when I register it for plates....ouch.
I'm getting a spray in bedliner, over the bed rails, similar to lineX for $450.
Other than that I'm looking for nerf bars or steps (I don't like running boards) as my wife can hardly crawl up in it without 'em.
Mileage pretty solid in the low 17's now after 200 miles of mixed driving. Amazing for a rig this big and heavy and brand new....I think 20's will be a piece of cake in about 15,000 miles.
Considering a tuner like the Edge Juice w/attitude or something with on the fly ability for tow power and increased mpg...not racing or throttle romping. I've alot to learn in researching these things. Looks like a boost fooler is a must for EGT control. Looks like quad and smarty are all the fashion on this forum. Leaning towards quad xzt as it seems to be a forum favorite.

Don't forget if you're a member of Farm Bureau they'll give you another $500 rebate and membership only costs about $25. That would have you @ $9,245 total under sticker. I could be wrong but I think all the 10-12K off deals were back when the lots were full of new 5.9's.

By my calculations I'm currently at $10,970 below sticker and another $500 would be WAY COOL.
Thanks...$30 membership fee. I'm confirming with the dealer and have my on line app in to the MO Farm Bureau.
That will pay for my Bed Liner!!!
Anyone got experience with CARR GX2 Steps or recommend some nerf bars??? MAAP look nice.
WOW! Look at NFAB Nerf Step.....Awesome looking.
