You can put them on the front, but they won't fit on the dually fender. I have some on my truck (pics in gallery), but mine is black SRW 3500.

You may have to find an aftermarket fender to fit a dually. Good luck.

Thanks, I appreciate the compliment. It is still a work in progress though, as I guess most DTR member's trucks are. Exterior wise my only planned mods are a Black Frontier rear bumper and hopefully a black "Sport" grill. Possibly some aftermarket black wheels too, or either get the stockers powdercoated black. I am trying to eliminate the chrome and go for a more stealth look.

I checked with the dealer and the Power Wagon fender flares were $400.00 installed. They only came in black. My 06 is white. They say they are paintable but I was told that you need to rmove a rubber gasget to paint them and then the gasget won't go back on.

My dealer told me the flares only fit the short bed models, I have a long bed SRW and would like to install them. Does anyone know if the dealer is telling the truth or smoking crack, wheel well openings look to be the same, haven't put a tape on them though. Why would they be different?

They make them in two versions. The link above is for long beds. I don't know exactly what the difference is between the long bed version and short bed version is....but I am assuming there is a slight body molding difference. As you can see in my gallery.........I have them on my truck and mine is a long bed. So your dealer is smoking crack.

They are $314 on DodgeParts.com and when I called them to order them the guy kept saying the local dealer could never beat that price or even match it. He kept insisting that I call them and see. Don't know why he did it, but finally I said......ok. Well I call the local dealer and did meet that price. Had them in the next day.

They are so easy to install, I wouldn't bother paying the dealer to do it.

Also, Sgt Peper.....I believe they do only come in black. Personally, I would like the contrasting black on a white truck. Good luck.

If you look on this link toward the bottom...........you can see they have the 8.0 bed and the 6.3 bed versions. Hope that helps.

Tex - give TomeyGun a call. I think he has Black rims on his red truck. They may even be Mopar rims, not sure. They do look nice and would look super on your already nice looking truck.

Thanks for the info Scott. Actually, I had pm'd TG back last September and he told me then that his wheels were powdercoated black. I will prob go that route too as the funds become available. I really like the stock wheels and the backspacing on them. Now to just get them BLACK.

Oh, one more thing......I was looking at Bobcat's black 2nd gen truck and he has some really nice Cragar Black wheels on his. Very nice looking on his truck, imo. But I don't think those wheels are available in 17''. Only 16''. Anyway, I will make a decision and move on it in a few months.

Thanks also for the compliment on the truck! Yours looks great too!
