Power folding trailer tow mirrors???

So, I ordered this option, but when the truck came, they are power mirrors, and they do fold (manually). Dealer says that is what I ordered, and they don't make one that folds under it's own power. Is this true, or did he screw up and is trying to hide it?? Does anyone out there have a 2004 where you push a button to change from normal to trailer towing mirrors??

Nah... That's what they are. If they're big ol' things with the convex part in the wrong spot when they're down, that's the power towing mirrors. The neat thing is when they're up, the four button controls are still right. They stick out so far I usually tow with them down and can see down the trailer just fine... Just watch out in the bank drive throughs...

I think that part is quite nifty "smart" mirrors.

Thats the one option my truck doesnt have, that I wish it did.. Its either paying the dealer for some, or buying some of those add on mirrors...

hah, yea not for those tiny bank curves and stuff :/

i have yet to actually use the mirrors, and ive left them... in the down position while hauling a 17+3ft car trailer... and didnt need em, could see fine.

i could see needing them to haul some 5 feet longer probably
