Power adjustable pedals

Considering buying an '05 and the other day, I stopped by a dealer just outside of Baltimore, MD. They had several 2500's and 3500's with the Laramie package. I noticed at the end of the sticker was a $120 credit for "Power Adjustable Pedals Delete/Credit" Does anyone know if this option has been discontinued or put on hold for some reason? Or maybe the dealer ordered them like this intentionally. I have this option on my 2003 and love it. My wife is 5 foot tall, and I am 6'2". When she drives it (which is scarey!!) she can adjust the pedals to keep from having to slide the seat forward thus putting herself almost against the steering wheel.

If I'm correct there was a shortage with the power pedals a while back. Since the Laramie comes standard with the power pedals DC had to credit the cost.

Powre assist pedals.

It is normally a deduct when it is not an automatic as near as I can tell. Saw several with the assist pedals and all were automatics. None were the 6 speed and the owners manual sort of says this also.

Pedals

When I was looking at the 05s, the only trucks with power assist pedals were the ones with the auto. All of the ones that were 6 speed and larimies had a deduct. The owners manual on the 05 only shows the assist pedals on an auto in there explanation of the function.

It's a temporary shortage according to DC's "The Daily News" from a few weeks ago.. look for new builds with them sometime in Feb.

I like having them, but its just one more thing my wife gets outta whack when she tries to drive the truck and I get back in it the next day!

For one reason or another she ends up taking my truck about once every 3 months, and it takes about half that long for me to get everything put back where it feels right again!

I see the 05's with the new 6 speed won't begin production until Feb. Thanks for posting this, Tom.

does anyone know how much trouble it would be to add them? I just picked up a 11/30/04 build 325/610 w/6sp and the dealer told me they had to decide to either wait on over 200 trucks or cancel the option. I really don't like sitting as close to the wheel as I have to for complete clutch travel
