plasti-dipped the rear bumper & high temp painted the tail pipe.... just lettin it dry... will get a finished pic when i pull the tape off

I've heard others say the same about it peeling right up when removing the tape.
Did you try to scuff the bumper first? Not sure if that would help or not.

Nope I didnt.... I think Im just gonna have it line-x'ed or try the roll on kit stuff and see if that works better

I have some KC lights that have the roll on stuff applied to them. Holding up pretty good. Not sure if the chrome was scuffed first or not because they were done when I got them.

Waiting for the finish shot, particularly the tailpipe. Been meaning forever to do that. I bought the the paint and cleaned the tailpipe with steel wool then didn't get it wiped or sprayed
The wind always picked up at the wrong time.
This^^^ Pull the tape right away and before it dries so that the paint doesn't create a bond to both surfaces (tape and bumper). That's why it pulled off. It'll take time to cure (any paint) and until then will peel easily.
