PIAA driving lights
PIAA driving lights
I'm thinking about buying a set of PIAA driving lights to mount under the front bumper
or to replace the stock fog lights with. Anyone have these mounted in the stock fog light
locations or under the front bumper ? Pictures ? Can the smaller round PIAA driving lights
be mounted in the stock fog light location without too many mods ?
Looking for some ideas and pictures
Thanks in advance

i have 2 sets of PIAA lights on my truck. they are not in the factroy location like you asked but here is a picture so you can see what size they are:

these are a little too large to be installed in the factory light location. i'm sure that they make smaller ones but not exactly like these. whichever ones you choose you will be happy with them.

I have a pair of 520's on the front bumper, 40's in the rear bumper, and 1500XT's fogs mounted on the front crossmember. Of the 3, the frames of the 1500XT's are rusting so badly, they probably won't last a second season. I'm very disappointed in the quality received for the money spent on them.

I put some of the smaller piaa lights on the bumper. I don't remember the model number, maybe 1200. They work pretty good, but I still may add some of the larger lamps later. You can check my photo. If you do this, make sure you don't mount them too close to the tow hook. Mine are a bit too close and it makes it hard to adjust the set screw.
