2005 Ram with the Quadzilla stuff in my sig and a K&N drop-in air filter. About 107,000 miles.

It's throwing a P0236 code and the Recon is giving off strange readings. The oil temp is jumping up to 300 and flashing, boost is static at 42 lbs, EGT is also static at some random double-digit number - almost like the Recon is programmed for the wrong truck, but it's still showing the same program code.

It's also exhibited a bit of stumbling or "dead pedal" for some time.

Any ideas?

I'm about due for a new fuel filter and for a cleaning on the K&N but that's all I can think of.

Disconnected the batteries and the Recon seems to be working right now, but it's still throwing a P0236 code.

 

Well, I changed the fuel filter and the CEL has turned off and no more P0236 code, but the Recon is still giving funky readings.

Boost was stuck at 44 last night, EGT was stuck at 32 and transmission temp was running up to 300 degrees just driving around town with no load.

Time for a new Recon?

 

It's back to doing it again. Nobody has any ideas?

 

i never had any luck with quad and you need to junk the k&N and get the new deep pleat stock filter and a psm kit
