oem side steps
the online mopar accessories catalogue has a long list of available side steps. of course, they have no photos at all. does anyone have photos (on a quad cab) or the chrome true tubular, the chrome premium tubular and the polished stainless side steps. these are the basic nerf bar style, but i have no idea how different each of these looks.

You can stop by your local dealer and pick up a free parts/accessory catalog from the parts department which has lots of pictures of what they offer.

Dodge paid for most of mine 700 dollars worth anyhow,I have a disability and Dodge has a program that helps out.I think I paid another 500 on top but would have paid ful price they are that nice. They work on both sides , front and back and are only 6 inches off the ground exstended. These are the first side steps that I have ever had that works great and makes it easy to get in and out. They came with relay and wireing harness everything looks like it is made to last. The step folds up out of the way and you don't even know it is their when door is closed plus this keeps most of the ice off them so when you step on them you don't go for a ride in winter.Sorry no picture but if you ask your dealer mine had pictures and brocure on them.Of all the things on my truck they are the thing that seems to impress people the most.Plus it saves wear and tear on edge of seat and stearing wheal getting in and out.

I purchased the polished stainless for my 04 short bed Dodge. They look great, and my concern regarding the Chrome was the eventual rust. I paid approximately $350 installed from my local Dodge dealer. My 90 year old mother in law gets in and out easily and without assistance, so they are quite functional.

I posted a picture of my truck. It'll be available as soon as the Admin approves it.
I have the Westin chrome clad aluminum on my quad cab and like their strength and durability. I often hear rocks ping off them but no marks. I just give a coat of carnuba once in awhile. The dealer threw them in as part of the deal so not sure what they cost. |
I posted a picture of the Mopar oval boards in my photo galley. Best picture I had on my puter.
