A nice surprise

Always leary of a trip to the dealer. . . .took the trunk in yesterday for the leaky coolant hose, near firewall behind turbo and leaky steering box. Figured the coolant hose was a warranty but was not sure if they would do steering box due to the 315's on it. They said if I had lifted it then maybe they would have pushed back but it looked like they wanted the work and I am leak free. Had them do the long crank reflash too. . .

It was kind of nice. . . . .

total cost $00.00

$0 is nice. Sounds like you have a good dealer.

I did back up with my last dodge and clip off the mirror on a power pole. . .did it at the ball field in front of about 10 other coaches. They all got a nice laugh and I got to buy a mirror assy. at some amazing amount $400 or so I think.

Do the automatics have some wonderful feature to kill the truck if you open the door while backing?

dang, didn't notice he had a manual, dodge thinks it is a needed flash if you have your truck in the shop to install a feature, one that makes the horn honk if you happen to open the door while the truck is in reverse, some trucks may show P but actually be in R. Some dealers will let you sign off and NOT have it installed, thank gosh on that I tell ya.

How do you see out of your side mirror if the door is open?
