New Toyo Tires Sound Out Of Balance
Ok so I took my truck, had it realigned, and had the tires rebalanced. The guy said however balanced my tires the first time did them wrong. He was able to get them to balance to 0 on all 4. When going do the road it gives off that sounds like the tires are out of balance, rather than a constant hum from bigger tires.
Does anyone else have this issue? |
Haven't hit any curbs lately? Bent axle or something?
Toyo's usually don't take much weight to balance, it the steering wheel shakes that's an indicator of front tires not balanced, if the whole truck shakes it's probly the rears. |
Nope no curbs or heavy offroading. I take it fairly ez on my truck. The truck doesn't shake at all, it just has the sound like when a tire is out of balance.

might be the road and not the tires?
|
The only reason I think it isn't the road is I hear it on several different kinds of pavement

Did you have them rotated at the same time? If you did, the wear pattern now running in a different position will make that noise. If so, it will quiet down after you put some miles on them.
|
YEs they have been balanced twice all at the same time. I need to give them a look over to see that they are all facing the same direction.
