Exclamation New replacement door seals just released

Just got mine replaced again this afternoon. For those of you who are like me and have had the door seal TSB done only to find out after so many months the so called fixed was just as lame as the original one. We you are in luck as DC has come up with a fix for the fix. Here are the new part numbers: 55277190AB and 55277191AB. This time around the fix should work as the look completely different than the ones they replace. The new door seal is tapered near the forward edge unlike the previous ones and are more soild along the taper as to avoid ripping. I'll post pic's later.

Are you saying there is another TSB now that replaces this one? I had this one done a long time ago and I thought it fixed the problem fine. The ones they replaced on my truck tapered down in the front to avoid the door corner edge from ripping the rubber.

Im looking forward to seeing the pics to see the difference. Thanks for pointing it out.

Yep, that was mine. What were you getting done? Mine was finished up just before 3:00 then they pulled yours in. I had them leave you a note in your truck from me. I wanted to tell you about the new door seals. I posted a few weeks ago about going out to BD for the event but no one seemed interested so I have made plans to drive down to Portland with the family.

I had that one done also, but the ones they replaced it with were not tapered down on the edge. Yet, they looked different from the original ones that came with the truck. Here is the part number they replaced the OEM ones with: 55276941AA/AB. As I was chatting with the mechanic about the door seals ripping again he noted of a new TSB to replace the replacement ones were out. Took him all to 5 minutes to do both sides. Maybe a slight change from what you had done, I dont know. But, when I get a moment I will try to get a couple pictures..

From what I've noticed it seems to seal the truck better . The new seal is thicker than the one they replaced. All I hear is turbo whistle and exhaust note when the radio is off .

We've been selling and installing those for almost a year now. Same seal and part number. Had them done on my truck about six months ago.

First I heard of it was yesterday. Saw nothing posted here or dodgeraminfo on it. Folks are normally pretty good here about giving heads up on new info, guess this one slipped thru the cracks.
