Back up lights with cargo lights ?

Wondering if anyone has ever wired up there high mount cargo lights to come on with the reverse back up lights ?

I am planning to do so soon, they will have to be on a switch too, it isn't legal to have high mounted and/or really bright back up lights on the road. I intend to put the cargo lights on a manual switch then a set of LED utillity lights in or under my bumper for super back up lights. With the LED lights I have seen they will be bright enough and not blow the backup light fuse.
