GRASS CUTTER

Please give help. My daughter wants to be able to pull a horse trailer, I thought of getting a 2001 to 2007 truck. Some thoughts were Mega cab, or 4 door, 4x4, 3/4 ton or 1 ton. I guess I want at least a 4 door. Just easier to get more people in for a trip. I would like to hear pros and cons and maybe problems that certain models might have.

I would not get a mega cab or short bed if pulling a horse trailer, to easy to crunch back of cab turning sharply. How big of trailer?
where ya pulling to shows, rodeos? going to be off pavement?
