Need help with headlight question.

Can anyone with a shop manual confirm if the high/low beams are ground switched or not?

I am contemplating some lighting upgrades.

I'm not sure but From what I have heard they are worse! they are computer controlled and will throw a code and trigger the lamp out light if you mess with them too much
