My new Shoe's... 285's with Power Wagon Flares

New Shoe's
2005 Ram, Silver with Power Wagon flares and 285 BFG's. No Lift, stock rims.
Anyone have the part number for the Power Wagon upper front bumper cover?

Looks great. How was the install for the flares? Do they rub the paint at all? Cost?

The flares were easy to install. They even came with directions! Not sure if they'll rub the paint or not, there is a small rubber strip that goes between the top of the flare and the body. IMO Anything that touchs the paint will rub the paint. And, I think they were $250 from a discount Dodge dealer on ebay.

Raz,

Looks great! I have the same set up....BFG tires and PW flares. Pics in the gallery. I really like the flares on your truck better though with the contrasting color. My truck is black.

How much taller are the 285's? My stockers will need replacing soon and I am thinking about increasing to the 285's but I only have a couple of inches of clearance going into my garage. Thanks - your truck looks great with the flares.

Thats the exact reason I went with the 285's. My garage is a standard 7' door and I still have a little over 2 inches to spare. Its close, but it clears

Check out this calculator http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html

I'm guessing you have to take the cummins emblem off in order to put the flares on?

Yep, they were right in the way. I'm thinking about putting them on the doors above the "2500" badges.
