Mud flaps with fender flares
Mud flaps with fender flares
I put a set of ATS fender flares on last summer. I removed the factory mud flaps because they would not fit with the flares. Now that it is winter I am noticing that alot of crude is splattering on my truck. Is anybody using mud flaps with there fender flares? If so what kind and where did you get them?
Thanks

Well it was not in Georgia.
New South Truck and Trailer is were the Mud Flaps came from. They are or were located in Travelers Rest SC at 1033 North Hwy 25. Phone 864-834-0100 or 800-868-4815.
With the Anti Sail Stainless verticals, they were $ 114.00 + shipping.
They have a web site.
Can't be sure they are still in business. They have some neat stuff. The mounting brackets mount inward with a 90 on the bracket and the other part mounts to the outside of the inner fender well close to the flare. The mud flap mounts to that. Can send a picture if you need it. I don't know if there any differance in the width of your wheel covers and mine.

I have fender flares on my 03 and bought factory rubber flaps but they do not fit exactly like they should so I never put them on. I also noticed alot of crude to, I don't know if I will mount the flaps or not. They just don't look right when you hold them up.
Check with http://www.autotrucktoys.com.
They list a molded flat splash guard that might work for you.

DuraFlap make ssome really nice mud flaps. I just installed a set but I don't have flares ... yet. I have seen them on trucks with flares and they looked good. As a matter of fact, someone's gallery on here has pics, jsut can't remember who's it was.
