Mounting Mud Flaps on Mega cab dually

Guy's,

Looking for insight on how to mount some standard square 18x24 mudflaps on an 08 Mega cab dually. I'm wondering if I can use the screws that fasten the inner liner to the fender? Would have to get longer screws but thats an easy fix. Would still need to figure out how to mount the other side on the inside of the flap...maybe fasten right to the inner liner? Or should I find a way to mount some angle somehow? thanks for the help.

never looked at the mud flap mounts on one. go find one and look at it or ask a dealer where they mount

mopar mud flaps

just get the mopar ones, they are thick rubber, and a cinch to install and are very functional!
I wish in some ways I still had my mega cab, but the last 07 5.9 qc 4x4 is a nice replacement....

On mine, I used 5/16" Lag Screws in a 1/4" drilled hole anywhere on the fibreglass fender... especially where there is no access from behind.

Where there is access from behind for a nut & a lock washer, I drilled 5/16" holes & used 5/16" bolts, nuts & washers.

I used 3 fasteners along the top & 2 fasteners along the bottom of the fender lip. You must use these 2 fasteners along the bottom, or else the flaps will flop, crack & eventually break.

I also occasionally use Armour-All on them to keep them pliable.

I have some hard flaps, I think they used 3 of the existing screws, plus like 3 more self-tapping ones.
