Going down to look at 2003 2500 diesel. It is an automatic short bed four door. What is your opinion on this truck. The price is right for me just wondering if the engine is going to give me any problems.

The 03 SO will have the 47re Automatic..... Not the best and at that mileage you will be looking at replacing or rebuilding it soon...... I say get a 03 HO with the NV5600 6-spd manual..... Good Luck

I have no complaints about my 03,first Dodge I ever owned and to be honest it's what sold me on Dodge,Won't ever buy anything other then Dodge from now on..
Unrelated I know but if they make the Power Wagon in D and a Long bed now that would be my dream
