Knocking in Steering Column

When the steering wheel is turned to the right on my 03 CTD, a knocking noise is found in the column. Anyone else experienced this?

Yes, my 04 did it every now and then. But it stoped. Looked under dash before it stoped, and it is comming from the steering column. But mine stoped, sorry I cant help. If you find out what it is, let me know. Thanks:D
