KMC XD Spys

Hey guys, I'm looking at getting these wheels for my truck and was wondering what yall's opinions are on how they would look.

Here's a picture of the truck....I no longer have the cummins "C" on the window though

Here's the wheels

If there is anyone out there that has any pictures of these wheels on a patriot blue and silver 3rd gen I would love to see them!

Thanks

I was going to get the Spy's but I couldn't find them in the correct backspacing, so I ended up with the Addicts

I have to admit that that I don't know much about backspacing. The one's I'm looking at are:
17x8
Offset: 18mm
Backspacing: 5.15"
Bolt Pattern: 8-165

Any idea how far they will stick out with a 35/12.50x17 Cooper ST tires?

Thanks

With my 18x9 wheels I had to get 5.7 inches of back spacing. Plus I put a lift on that has axle forward control arms. I have zero rubbing at all.

I have a leveling kit only. Do you know how much rubbing I would have with these wheels and 35/12.50x17 Cooper Discoverer ST's

I think being 8 inches wide equates to an extra half inch out compared to 9's. So that would be like 5.65 backspacing in a 9 inch wheel.

That skinny center slot will be hard to clean with the 17's and 8 inches is kinda skinny for 35x12.50s.

What would your opinion be on 33/12.50x17?

Oh, I forgot to ask, what size are the stock wheels? 17x8 right?

Yes 17x8 stock aluminum wheels.

It's the wheel width thats the problem in your equations. I'd personally find a 9 inch wide wheel with 5.7 backspacing like a lot of other XD wheels come in. Or a wheel like the H2 that is I think 8.5 inches wide and has 5.5 BS. That's if you wanna run 12.50's.

From what I understand these don't rub, mine don't.

If you really want that wheel I'd go with a 285/75 possibly. Maybe look at 295 or 305 as well. Something skinnier. The manufacturer has specs on their websites for height.
