Issues with 06 Ram 3500 5.9

Having probs with my 5.9 starting...
It doesn't like to start in cold weather, AT ALL..
Even being plugged in over night, still have to hit it with starting fluid. Volt meter cycles after getting it started until motor teacher happy temp. So, I figure AIH & relays are doing there job... What should I be chasing to fix this?
A bit worried about shutting pickup down out in the field...

Hopefully, you are disconnecting your AIH relays prior to using the starting fluid. If not, the flash bang experience you could have is pretty expensive.
Back to morning brew . . .
