Ignition Switch Controlled Power
I want to install an accessory that I only want to have power when the ignition is on. It is low amperage. Where could I splice to get this?

I've tapped fuse #28 under the hood (overhead cluster...) for switched power. Get the fuse tap that inserts in place of the existing fuse (). It will have slots for two fuses, one for the original circuit, and one for your tap. Connect a wire to the tap's pigtail and route it into the cab. I also clearanced the fuse box housing to allow the wire to exit without pinching.

It's my pot and I'll stir it if I want to. If you're not careful, I'll stir your's as well!
How about the cigarette lighter wire or one of the other similar outlets?
