Ignition Switch Controlled Power

I want to install an accessory that I only want to have power when the ignition is on. It is low amperage. Where could I splice to get this?

I've tapped fuse #28 under the hood (overhead cluster...) for switched power. Get the fuse tap that inserts in place of the existing fuse (
like this one like this one
). It will have slots for two fuses, one for the original circuit, and one for your tap. Connect a wire to the tap's pigtail and route it into the cab. I also clearanced the fuse box housing to allow the wire to exit without pinching.

It's my pot and I'll stir it if I want to. If you're not careful, I'll stir your's as well!

How about the cigarette lighter wire or one of the other similar outlets?
