Random clunk.
So. I'll sum this up.. 2003 ram 2500 4x4. 4door long bed.. "the beast"
I have now done the following ..
New upper an lower ball joints..
Axle shaft u joints new
New 09 upgrade to the steering setup.. to include the upgraded mopar gear box.. an all hardware from wheel to wheel..
Had to upgrade my drop Pitman arm..
Has a 6" superlift with 37" bad boys.. to function with gear box.. shafts larger.. much..
All new fox pro2 shocks..
Dual stabilizer setup..
Body mounts inspected.
end links an sway bar bushing replaced..
Track bar new bushings ..
When slow hear a popping noise from drivers front.. or when at a stop an turning back am forth..
I have removed an inspected intermediate shaft
Also.. drive shaft front front axle ton transfer gear replaced..
Can not figure this who're out.. had aligned at jacks in phx.. rocking job.. while being aligned.. couldn't duplicate on stand.. told us all steering am suspension is perfect.
I have noticed when in park.. grab shaft near gear box an try to go back an forth gets a odd noise.. .

With all that extra weight it puts a ton of stress on your track bar and the 3rd gen bolts just dont have enough clamping force. I had the same issue and fixed it replacing the original bolt on the frame side with a heavy duty grade 9/16 grade 8 bolt and washers.
Since I am going with lift soon so I'll need an adjustable track bar to recenter the axle I plan to get a Thuren with the larger bolt upgrade to get rid of the issue forever.

I agree with "04...," but, before you get out the drill for larger bolts, first crank up the air pressure on your impact wrench on the track-bar bolts. (Yes, don't over-torque them.)
I've got a leveling kit and late-model upgraded steering components from the steering box to the ball joints, a steering box stabilizer and the Carli adjustable track bar. Its solid now.
But, beware, lifted (Dodge in particular) trucks are a whole 'nother problem starting with "why?"
However, you said that when you:
"grab shaft near gear box an try to go back an forth gets a odd noise."
Can you clarify this symptom. It might be your issue.
