How to get a vehicle history report from a VIN?
 
Can anyone here get a full vehicle history from a VIN? I'm looking at a CTD (been told it has a repairable title), but I’d like to know if there was any maintenance done on it at dealerships.
When I was looking to buy a Chevy, thedieselplace has a forum for VIN checks, that's really convenient.

Carfax.com is the only one I know of, I have used it for the lat 5 rigs I have bought. It is hit or miss on the maintenance though.

Any dealer can run your vin and give a heads up on any warranty work and recalls that have been performed.
