Hello & VIN history please?

Hi guys-
Looking into buying a 03 2500 Quad 4X4 5.9 HO 6SP ST. Didn't know if someone with the ability could give me the original options listing from the VIN, and the maintenance history (assuming pretty safely this is all in the computer somewhere!). I have the carfax and Autocheck reports, just not the dealer history (serviced when, where, what, etc) and the original window sticker.

Edit: Forgot the VIN. Here you go.. 3D7KU28C03G760765

Also, when I go to pick it up (I have the downpayment in on it already), is there anything I should look for on the test drive or on a visual inspection that is a show-stopper and I should walk away from the deal on ? I've heard about the door seals and the shimmy issues, neither of which sound like they'd be show stoppers.. any others?

Any help is appreciated... so thanks in advance!

Looks pretty typical to me. Other than = Rear axle assembly? U-joints not too much later - looks like it had a vibration or noise concern. Keep the radio down on the test drive! Looks like a nicely equiped truck.

Wow, talk about quick! Thanks so much!

I suppose that means the truck has the 410 rear, great for towing not so great for mileage. Do you guys recommend leaving in the 410 rear or is the 373 worth putting in for mileage purposes ? I do plan on towing a decent amount, but not usually more than 12000 lbs... though some of it can be in hilly country. Most of the time I'll only be towing a measly 8000 lbs.

Thanks again! And yep, I think no radio and some feeling & listening is in order to see if that vibe issue is still present... but I can only assume it's not, since the last dealer/warranty item was back in 04...

If towing 8k to 12k once a week or more you'll like 4.10s.

IMHO 4.10's are overkill unless your towing really heavy ALL the time. I have 3.73's and ive done quite a bit of towing with my truck and im very happy with them. As far as mpgs goes with the 4.10's I cant help you much. The best ive seen with my truck is 21mpg, im averageing about 17-18

Yeah 4.10s are what you want if you go to a bigger tire or tow a lot... Or both I guess.

Wink hmmmmmm, flood damage? check under the rear carpet at the door..

o wow, we have 17s with the 4.10 diesel 4x4 off road just for towing, but we get 22 mpg on the flats and thruway.. about 12 mpg towing the 12,000 boat
about 19 through the hills and twisty roads. haven't done a thing to it- stock.

lucky I guess
