Heated seat swap
Hello I have a 2006 3500 mega cab slt with drivers power seat. I bought a set of leather seats out of a 2008 I was told. They plugged in and I have power on drivers and passenger side. I pulled the radio cover off and I do not have the heated seat wiring up in the dash to plug into the factory switches. I had the rear slider harness ans im assuming the sunroof one. The spots where i assume the heated ones would be were empty.What are my options now?
I could buy a after market heated seat kit and use that or can I trace my wires that are in the seats now and wire those into another switch and relay? Does anyone sell just a wiring kit for after market heated seats? Or can i jump the factory wiring? Thank you
