I'm guessing from his user name that he has an 03. Back then leather was standard on the Laramie, but heated was an extra option even with the group 2 option.
I think the heated ones have two tubes full of wires going from the connector up to the base of the seat.
It might be good to have a service manual for the upgrade. In addition to the heated seats and switches there is a digital control module.

I wish I could have A/C in mine... ! Actually for my wife, I never use the A/C even in the warm months we have. I really hate the cold (anything under 65 degrees). And it's been cold lately.

I dont believe the trim code tells you. To my understanding the first 2 digits indicates whether its leather, vinyl, or cloth and the last 2 digits are the color code

I also was thinking of something else. I wonder if you'll need a new dash trim panel? or is the space easily cut out? I never seen one without heated seat controls so I dont know what that area of the panel looks like w/o them

My truck is a 2005 Laramie and it has heated leather seats. I believe the heating units are already in the seats. Maybe someone will correct me if I am mistaken.
