I believe its Link to stolen copyright protected material removed or something like that that has service manuals for download. Even for diesels

Try Link to stolen copyright protected material removed. In the pane on the left scroll down and find the manual for your year and download it. It should be around 90mb for the entire manual. Has everything you need.

Not true, the Haynes and Chilton's manuals are not useless! They are very good for soaking up oil spills!!!

Is there any other manual in print similar to Haynes and Chilton that is a good reference/service manual for our diesels? Those are the only two I really ever heard of.

the only way to go is the factory service manuals.

I decided to never again buy a haynes/chiltons when I did the heads on my 98 5.2 gasser and it forgot to tell me to remove the intake manifold - kinda important!!

check http://www.genosgarage.com/products.asp?dept=17 to order them

I bought one of those Haynes when I was getting into the pump and what it looked like inside. All the book told me was where the pump was on the motor. I brought it back to Canadian tire the same day.
