H2 tires

Will the H2 315/70/17 Tires fit on my stock rims?

Current tires are 265/70/17.

Just the tires or the tire and wheel as a set?

The tires, yes. Assuming they are BFG A/T's also

The wheels will require some small modifications

Yes the will fit on the stock rims, but you will have a little rub at full lock on the control arms.

James I was just talking about the tires.

I know about the work required with the rims and that might still be an option.

Either way I go I will need to get a leveling kit on the front because it dropped when I installed the heavy ranch style bumper. Was thinking about a Lorenz kit with the 23%

If I was to get just the H2 rims with 315 tires would they fit on my truck with out the leveling kit? Seems that I don't have enough for both and can get the tires and rims now.

BTW I do have a heavy ranch style front bumper that I am pretty sure lowered the front.

If you got the coin to spend. Buy Sean's Leveling system w/ the 23% coil. Then you will have no issues of clearence. Also a better ride up front w/ that bumper.

The H2 wheels are the proper size for the Dodge. Better than the stock size in my opinion and they mount 315s with no rubbing. The closest place is at the rear of the front tire as the steering turns and brings it past the rear of the front fender well. Very close but clear.

I've had 315s on H2s for a couple years under a wide variety of off and on road driving conditions and have yet to rub anywhere. Many here have had the same experience. 315s on the stock rims will rub some at full lock, but I think the rim is only marginally wide enough for the tire. The H2s are perfect functionally. They will not help your sagging front, but won't rub. Often you can get a set of H2/KO take offs for less than the price of new KO tires.
