Flaps open or closed?

I have a Mopar winter front that I just purchased. I want to know if you guys with winter fronts ever close all of the flaps? I worry that closing all of the flaps is bad for the fan clutch. What do you guys/girls think?

I run the Mopar front also and i run all flaps open. Unless it gets real cold like teens then i'll close all but the top 1.

I have run with all flaps closed. In extreme cold at highway speeds, it's the only way to keep some heat in the engine. Doesn't seem to be a problem.

Thanks guys. I have run been running with all of them closed since is hasn't gotten out of the high 20's here for a couple of weeks. The engine temp has never gotten above 187 with them all closed but I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask.

It is trial and error. If the fan isnt cycling on and off any more than it would in the dead of summer with the A/C running, then close that shitake up and enjoy some heat.
