Question Farm Bureau rebates on 2500 Cummins

I will be ordering a 2004.5 dodge 2500 SLT Auto with the Cummins some time this week, do you have to be a member of Farm Bureau 30 days before you order a truck or can I become a member now and get the rebate when I pick up the truck, it should take 6-8 weeks to get the truck. Thanks

As long as you have been a member for 45 days( I might be wrong on the # of days, but I think 45 is right). If you become a member now, by the time your vehicle comes in, you will be way over the minimum days required. I'm in my 10th week of waiting

The January issue of the Pa Farm Bureau newspaper says the the rebate program was scheduled to run until the end of this month, but was extended through September 30, '04. It states that Dodge is increasing the waiting period from 30 to 45 days before a new member is eligible for the rebate. The 45 day requirement becomes effective by September, but DC is asking dealerships to voluntarily enforce it now. The idea is to make the rebate benefit current members rather than folks who join just to get the rebate. What huge difference 15 extra days will make...
