Exterior Mirror Defrost Switch
 

I have a 2006, 2500 5.9 Diesel Mega Cab. I just had the A/C compressor replaced and now the exterior Mirror Defrost Switch located on the dash is flashing. I want to make sure that replacing the switch will fix the problem.

In addition, the seat heater switches both driver and passenger work intermittently.

I would appreciate any info anyone might have as to possible causes.

I would pull your battery cables and let the truck reset and let your AC recalibrate. The AC control module is the entire unit with your knobs on it on the dash. When I replaced mine a few months ago the mirror switch blinked as it went thru the calibration process. I really doubt you will find just the switch, Probably have to replace the entire module which was on national back order.

Appreciate your help. I totally forgot about resetting the system. It happened once before with another issue but after turning the ignition off and restarting three times it cleared the problem. Lucas Black Magic is haunting me again.
